Wordlessly she smiles, removes it and places it on my wrist, gently handcuffing me. ‘It’s okay. Keep it. To remind you of me.’…I look at her and it makes me feel still. Then, looking into her eyes, quietly I say: ‘I don’t need anything to remind me of you.’ That is how I fell in love. Throughout (the VMAs) I carried the bracelet in my pocket. so I’m waiting for sol to give me the link to the Canucks vs Edmonton game (5-1 Edmonton right now?!?) and my computer went to the screen saver. I look up and the word on my screen (my screensaver shows a word with a definition…because I’m that nerdy) is “procrastinate”.
so many ironies there. sigh.
